X lama lagi mau puasa kan? Hmm.. Sudah sedia kah belum? Hehe. Apa-apa pun semoga bulan ramadhan tahun ni dapat di lalui dengan penuh kesabaran dan penuh rahmat. Aminnn. :)
Bercakap tentang bulan ramadhan ni, saya mau kongsi satu resepi kek yang memang popular di Brunei. Di kampung saya pun kek tu memang MOST WANTED lah. Yalah, majoriti penduduk kampung tu pun orang bangsa brunei juga. Kalau di hidang di meja, konfem x sampai seminit pinggan bersih. Hehe. Hebat kan penangan kek tu :D.
Raya tahun ni saya dah memang berhajat mau buat kek tapak kuda tu. Keh keh keh. Disebabkan saya betul-betul mau mencuba buat kek tapak kuda ni, akhirnya... Saya jumpa pun resepi yang hanya untuk skala kecil jak. :) Resepi tu saya culik dari SINI .
1st time buat kek ni memang nebes habis. Mau tau kenapa? Sebab masa kek ni tengah mengembang, kembar saya sempat cakap ' jung, kenapa kembang betul kek mu ni? ', untuk sedapkan hati sendiri saya pun balas lah ' ooo, memang tu gitu..nanti dia turun balik lah tu kalau sudah sejuk '. Hehe.

Kek Tapak Kuda Nutella
3 eggs
2 egg whites
115 gm castor sugar
1⁄2 tbsp ovalette
55 gm cake flour
1⁄2 tsp baking powder
70 gm melted butter
1 tsp vanilla essence
1⁄2 tsp chocolate emulco

2 egg whites
115 gm castor sugar
1⁄2 tbsp ovalette
55 gm cake flour
1⁄2 tsp baking powder
70 gm melted butter
1 tsp vanilla essence
1⁄2 tsp chocolate emulco
Nutella
Procedure :
1. Whisk sugar, eggs and ovalette at a low speed, then on medium for about 8-10 mins, until thick and fluffy.
2. Add in flour and baking powder, and beat until well combined well. Mix in melted butter and vanilla essence.
3. Divide the batter into two, and add chocolate emulco to one half. Pour the chocolate batter evenly into a lined and greased 10-inch square pan.
4. Scoop the plain batter into a piping bag and pipe plain batter evenly over the chocolate batter, being careful not to mix the two.
5. Bake in the preheated oven at 180C for 20-25 mins.
6. Cool slightly, and remove cake from the pan. Spread nutella over the chocolate side while it's still warm.
7. Cut the into two, and gently fold over lengthwise.
